Prep. Work and Painting Process.
*Remove any necessary exterior amenities; light fixtures, address numbers etc…
*Thoroughly pressure wash exterior to remove loose peeling paint, dirt and debris.
*Replace 2 by 6 rutted redwood trim board on the window on the right side of the garage by main house entrance.
*Scrape and sand all applicable surfaces to remove remaining peeling paint and or loose materials.
*Patch all holes in wood trim, and siding using applicable materials. Deep holes or patches shall be filled with Bondo or similar material.
*Fill all seams in siding and trim using applicable materials (caulking 50+ years).
*Mask all windows, doors, walkways and steps to prevent over spray and paint mistakes.
Spot Prime all bare wood surfaces, using Prep Rite Primer. (Sherwin Williams)
*Paint Siding using Flat SuperPaint Exterior Latex Paint (Sherwin Williams Paint 25 years warranty) with an airless sprayer, brush and roller. Siding shall be back rolled. Apply 2 coats.
*Paint wood trim, roof fascia, gutters & downspouts using Flat SuperPaint Exterior Latex Paint (Sherwin Williams Paint 25 years warranty) with a brush, roller and paint mitt.
*Paint front and back door using semi-gloss SuperPaint Exterior Latex Paint with a brush and roller.
*Remove masking materials.
*Remove any paint mistakes and over spray that may have occurred.
*Perform any necessary touch ups.
*Replace all previously removed exterior amenities.
